Bishop Stephen welcomes racial justice debate at General Synod saying justice isn't something we can outsource to others, but need to each take part in
Diocesan Synod met to discuss the new Making Jesus Known vision, the introduction of a new system of Share, the work of our cshools and the shortage of churchwardens.
Last Thursday over 40 church and school leaders attended the Missional Pathway Induction Day at Emmaus House. Missional Pathways sit within the Creative Partnerships in Local Mission strand of the Diocesan vision to Make Jesus Known.

Every Monday morning, Cerne Abbas St Mary’s Church host 'Come and Play'. This is targeted at young families, timed to start after drop off at the School. The church is transformed, by an amazing group of dedicated volunteers, into toddler paradise and the parents have opportunity for conversation and mutual support.
On Sunday 28 January, over 180 people, filled Christ Church, Creekmoor with love and best wishes, as we celebrated 25 amazing years of Janice and Jean’s ministry.
In the first lockdown, Salisbury Cathedral had to turn worshippers away, due to being closed because of government rules, at Christmas services last month, the Cathedral had to turn a hundred away as pews were packed to full capacity.
On Sunday 14 January after more than 10 years of planning, selecting and commissioning designs, Salisbury Cathedral formally unveiled two new altars, which were consecrated by Bishop Stephen during the 10.30 Eucharist.
Following the very successful tractor run in October, last Sunday, St Peter and St Paul Caundle Marsh hosted a modern Plough Sunday Service.
St Peter Stourton Caundle applied for a grant from the Aldhelm Mission Fund to develop a new community outreach cafe in the village, called The Beehive which meets in the village hall every Thursday. This project has been led and managed by Rachel Page, Lay Pastoral Assistant, with the support of her husband, Rob and a small team.
