Mere is a small country town in southwest Wiltshire: a great place to live and work, with its independent shops, school, surgery and pubs. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and Mere is well connected with excellent access to the A303 and Gillingham station four miles away.
West Knoyle is just two miles away: a small rural community with a lovely medieval church. We have a supportive team of ministers and volunteers, and our churches are well-run and ready to grow.
The Rectory is a modern build with a large garden, close both to the church and centre of Mere. This is a full stipend, fixed-term post, with initial review after three years.
